// REQUIRED SKILLS
**Responsibilities**
Create 1–3 stylized, game-ready hero characters for the vertical slice of The Named, an Action-RTS built in Unreal Engine 5.
Work includes:
• High-quality character modeling optimized for UE5
• Clean topology and UV layout
• PBR texturing (Substance Painter or equivalent workflow)
• Collaboration on strong silhouette and gameplay readability
• Deliver skeletal mesh compatible with Unreal rig (custom or mannequin-based)
Collaborate closely with gameplay and animation to ensure the character supports clear combat timing and visual clarity.
Scope is limited to vertical slice production, not a full roster build.
**Qualifications**
-Portfolio demonstrating strong stylized 3D character work
-Experience preparing assets for Unreal Engine (or similar real-time engine)
-Understanding of clean topology for animation
-Ability to follow defined art direction while contributing creatively
-Strong communication and reliability
-And most importantly, a desire to be part of the team 😁
Nice to have:
-Experience with hero-based or competitive games
-Familiarity with Unreal import pipeline and skeleton setup
-Sensitivity to cultural reference and respectful character representation
