**Responsibilities**

KAREN is a third-person action comedy. You play a Karen wreaking havoc through a suburban mall. Goat Sim x Untitled Goose x South Park. Steam first.

Status: 45K Steam wishlists, Karen model done, destruction sim working, vertical slice in progress.

The destruction is fun. The combat isn't yet. You'd make the fighting feel as good as the smashing.

You'd own:

  • Karen's moveset and signature abilities. Tuning feel, timing, cancels.
  • Game feel: hitstop, screen shake, VFX/SFX timing, animation cancels.
  • Enemy behaviors and encounter pacing across 5 archetypes.
  • 6 boss fights, each with a distinct mechanical hook.
  • Rage/Ego escalation loop tuning.
  • **Qualifications**

  • Live in Unreal Blueprints daily. C++ a plus, not required.
  • Can prototype an ability from scratch without waiting on engineering.
  • Shipped or seriously prototyped action / character-action / beat-em-up combat. DMC-school sensibilities welcome.
  • Comedy instincts. The slap has to be funny, not just hit.
  • Available for live playtests.
  • Contract, rate negotiable, start ASAP.
