**Responsibilities**

**Concept artist**:

  • Creating original concept art for environments, characters, creatures, props, and factions
  • Exploring visual themes tied to horror, cosmic horror, and industrial decay
  • Supporting the 3D artist and character designer with visual references, paint-overs, and design iterations
  • Helping maintain visual consistency across environments, characters, and narrative elements
  • Translating written lore and gameplay ideas into clear, usable visual concepts
  • **Programmer**:

  • Taking the lead on gameplay feature programming and technical direction
  • Working closely with existing programmers, animators, and level designers
  • Implementing and supervising core systems such as:
  • Turn-based combat
  • Character progression and stats
  • Advanced inventory and equipment systems
  • AI behaviour and enemy logic
  • Reviewing and coordinating feature implementations to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Helping define best practices for
  • **Qualifications**

    **Concept Artist**:

  • Visual Storytelling: Ability to communicate ideas and concepts visually, translating narrative and gameplay into compelling imagery.
  • **Programmer**:

  • Unreal Engine: Understanding of UE core systems, Blueprints visual scripting, and/or C++ programming. Experience with Unreal Engine AI behavior is highly desirable.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and GitHub (essential for collaborative development).
