**Responsibilities**
Responsibilities:
- Build out the Korgari volcanic highlands biome in UE5.7 on top of existing Gaea terrain
- Landscape material creation and texturing (volcanic rock, ash, basalt, obsidian, lava cracks)
- Environment art: rock formations, cliffs, volcanic vents, obsidian spikes, lava channels, ash fields
- Lighting and atmosphere setup (epic volcanic mood, embers, haze, heat distortion)
- VFX placement: lava glow, smoke, ember particles, thermal vents
- Build key landmarks: volcano crater (~700m), fortress plateau (~400m), solidified lava rivers, sacred brazier sites
- Place custom assets into the scene as they are provided
**Qualifications**
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with UE5 environment/level art
- Proficiency with UE5 landscape materials and texturing
- Experience building volcanic/fantasy environments
- Comfortable with Nanite, Lumen, and UE5.7 workflows
- Understanding of mythic fantasy art direction (God of War, Elden Ring, WoW style — epic, not grimdark)
- Experience with VFX placement (Niagara particles) is a plus
- Ability to work on a large-scale map (8km×8km, biome is ~1/5 of total)
