**Responsibilities**

  • Create high-quality, realistic fabric and cloth textures using Substance 3D Painter, including accurate albedo, roughness, normal, and height details.
  • Develop and recreate the same fabric materials inside Unreal Engine (UE5) using Material Editor, ensuring visual parity with Painter outputs.
  • Build physically based, production-ready materials with correct fabric behavior such as weave detail, fiber breakup, edge wear, dirt layering, and aging.
  • Set up and optimize material instances, parameters, and masks for efficient iteration and in-engine control.
  • Ensure textures and materials are optimized for real-time performance while maintaining high visual fidelity.
  • Collaborate closely with character artists, cloth simulation artists, and the environment team to maintain a consistent visual style.
  • Match the artistic direction and realism standards required for a cinematic, narrative-driven game.
  • **Qualifications**

  • Proven experience as a Fabric / Cloth Texturing Artist for games, cinematics, or real-time projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Substance 3D Painter for fabric texturing workflows.
  • Solid hands-on experience creating and fine-tuning materials directly in Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5).
  • Deep understanding of PBR workflows, fabric shading models, and real-world material reference.
  • Ability to translate Painter textures into fully functional Unreal materials, including correct roughness response and normal behavior.
  • Experience working with game-ready assets and real-time rendering constraints.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing fabric or cloth materials rendered both in texturing tools and in-engine (Unreal preferred).
  • Familiarity with AAA-quality standards is a strong plus.
