**Responsibilities**

Looking for an experienced Unreal Engine developer/technical animator to help implement and refine character IK and weapon socket systems in UE5. Work includes setting up weapon attachment sockets, aligning hand placement with IK, improving animation blending for equipped weapons, and helping create a clean scalable workflow for future weapons and character rigs. Experience with first-person and/or third-person character systems is a plus.

**Qualifications**

  • Strong Unreal Engine 5 experience
  • Experience with IK Rig / IK Retargeter systems
  • Familiar with weapon socket setup and attachment workflows
  • Blueprint experience required (C++ optional)
  • Experience working with character animation systems
  • Able to troubleshoot alignment, hand placement, and animation issues
  • Portfolio or examples of similar Unreal Engine work preferred
