**Responsibilities**
An indie team is looking for a Hard Surface 3D Modeler to create several sci-fi weapon models, including concept design.
Design and model clean, production-ready assets with proper topology, silhouette, and edge flow. Ensure functional designs that are ready to be rigged as transformers.
Develop high-quality textures (albedo, normal, roughness, etc.) following PBR standards.
Ensure assets are optimized for real-time performance (LOD-ready, efficient geometry, clean UVs).
Maintain consistency with the existing character style and technical requirements.
**Qualifications**
Experience in hard surface modeling for real-time characters or props.
Understanding of topology, shading, and clean mesh construction.
Experience with tools such as Maya, Blender, or similar 3D software.
Knowledge of game-ready workflows, optimization, and PBR texturing.
Ability to match existing assets and maintain consistent visual quality.
Portfolio demonstrating hard surface work (real-time assets preferred).
