// REQUIRED SKILLS
**Responsibilities**
Create game-ready hard surface assets (props, weapons, environment pieces, machinery, etc.) as well as modular specifications
Model with clean topology optimized for real-time performance
Produce UVs and textures (or work cleanly with a texture artist if roles are split)
Follow style guides, scale, and naming conventions
Implement assets into the engine (or prepare them for import)
Iterate on feedback and make revisions as needed
Collaborate closely with designers, and programmers
Manage tasks independently and meet agreed-upon milestones
Available at least 10 hours a week to provide deliverables.
This is unpaid until funding can be obtained***
A rev-share agreement will be signed upon acceptance.**
**Qualifications**
Solid understanding of hard surface modeling fundamentals
Experience with tools such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush (as needed)
Familiarity with PBR workflows and texture tools (Substance Painter/Designer or equivalent)
Knowledge of game engine constraints (UE5)
Ability to balance visual quality and performance
Portfolio demonstrating hard surface assets (personal or professional work accepted)
Comfortable working in a rev-share / indie team environment
Good communication and reliability (this matters more than AAA credits)
Applicant must provide a portfolio (artstation, carbonmade or personal website)
