**Responsibilities**
Maximize the potential of our artists, worldbuilding and gameplay at Notiontheory by:
designing, developing, and maintaining procedural asset creation systems in Houdini (environments, effects, tools, and pipelines)building procedural workflows for destruction, fluids, particles, foliage, and terrain generationcollaborating with the art and engineering teams to integrate Houdini Digital Assets (HDAs) into Unreal Engineoptimizing procedural systems for performance while maintaining visual qualitysupporting gameplay features and worldbuilding with scalable, reusable Houdini setupstroubleshooting, debugging, and improving Houdini-to-engine workflowsworking independently while collaborating on high-level goals in a small team of expertsproactively identifying opportunities to improve pipelines, artist efficiency, and in-game immersioncontributing to research and development of in-house Houdini tools and custom plugins**Qualifications**
strong expertise in Houdini and procedural generation (HDAs, VEX, Vellum, Pyro, FLIP, etc.)experience integrating Houdini pipelines with Unreal Engine or similar real-time enginessolid understanding of simulation systems (particles, destruction, fluids, cloth)knowledge of Python or VEX scripting for tool development and pipeline automationability to optimize assets and simulations for real-time applicationsfluency in English (written, spoken)working microphone and webcamstrategic thinker with strong problem-solving skillsexcellent communicator, able to collaborate across disciplinesyou must play games, love games, and want to make games!**How to Apply**
