Scopely is looking for a Manager, Workplace Experience to join our Workplace and Real Estate Team, as part of the People function in Barcelona working 5 days a week from the hub. This is a 6 month fixed term contract.

What You Will Do
You will report to the Head of Real Estate & Facilities and will play a key role in supporting and evolving Scopely’s employee experience across our Spain hubs. To thrive in this role, you will need to be a forward-thinking, operationally-minded leader, who is a strong communicator and self-motivated individual with an ability to influence and manage stakeholders across multiple locations. You will need to be confident in giving advice covering a broad range of topics, with the ability to manage multiple varied tasks against tight deadlines. This role requires clear strategic thinking, a responsible mindset, and a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee day-to-day workplace operations and the Workplace teams across Barcelona and Sevilla, ensuring consistent service levels and employee experience
- Provide hands-on support to resolve urgent facilities issues across Spain hubs, such as HVAC failures, water leaks, or access control malfunctions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Support and execute workplace and real estate projects across Spain, including office expansions, renovations, workplace reconfigurations, and other initiatives aligned with company growth
- Lead continuous improvement efforts for workplace processes, including:
- Optimizing ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) to triage and resolve issues efficiently
- Developing SLAs for facilities response
- Overseeing preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers (e.g., janitorial, HVAC, security, office services), ensuring quality, cost control, and performance tracking
- Support the design and rollout of workplace policies across Spain, such as desk booking, ergonomic standards, and visitor management processes
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations and standards, including health & safety, fire safety, and building compliance requirements
- Partner with Employee Health & Safety to ensure adherence to local and regional regulations and best practices
- Manage landlord relationships and act as primary liaison for lease-related matters, repairs, and escalations across Spain sites
- Monitor and support CAPEX/OPEX budgets, including:
- Tracking project spend vs. budget
- Supporting forecasting
- Identifying and executing cost-efficiency opportunities
- Lead and support local Workplace & Facilities teams and vendors, ensuring strong operational performance and service delivery
- Foster a positive, service-oriented culture across Spain hubs, driving engagement and collaboration
- Act as a people-first leader, supporting team development and modeling Scopely’s values of accountability, curiosity, and excellence
- Ensure Scopely’s culture and workplace experience standards are consistently reflected across all Spain offices
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7+ years of experience in workplace operations, facilities, or real estate project management
- Experience supporting multi-site operations, ideally across different cities or regions
- Proven success in project execution, vendor management, and budget oversight
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner across teams and functions
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to diverse audiences
- Flexible, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing teams and external partners
- Excellent analytical, strategic, and project management skills
- Commitment to innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in workplace operations
- Willingness to travel between Barcelona and Sevilla as needed
- Ability to work from the Barcelona hub regularly, with flexibility to support operational needs
