// JOB DESCRIPTION

**Responsibilities**

  • Design, implement, and maintain core gameplay systems using C++ in Unreal Engine 5
  • Develop gameplay features using a combination of C++ and Blueprints
  • Implement and maintain multiplayer gameplay systems, including replication and networking
  • Write server-authoritative gameplay logic for networked games
  • Debug and resolve gameplay and multiplayer-related issues
  • Optimize gameplay code for performance and stability
  • Collaborate closely with game designers to prototype and iterate on gameplay mechanics
  • Maintain clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
  • Implement UI systems using UMG (bonus)
  • Work with or extend the Gameplay Ability System (GAS) (bonus)
  • Create designer-friendly tools and Blueprint workflows
  • Assist with gameplay architecture and technical design decisions
  • **Qualifications**

    Required Qualifications:

    -Strong C++ experience

    -Experience with Unreal Engine 5

    -Experience working with Blueprints in Unreal Engine 5

    -Experience implementing multiplayer gameplay in Unreal Engine 5 (replication, networking, etc.)

    Bonus Qualifications:

    -UI development experience (UMG / Slate)

    -Experience with the Gameplay Ability System (GAS)
