**Responsibilities**
Design, create, edit, and polish high-quality sound effects for gameplay, environments, UI, cinematics, and other in-game moments.
Implement and integrate sound assets directly into Unreal Engine, ensuring they function correctly within gameplay systems and interactive events.
Collaborate closely with the game director, designers, programmers, and artists to shape the game’s audio identity and support the overall player experience.
Manage hourly tasks effectively, communicate progress clearly, and meet agreed deadlines in a remote work environment.
**Qualifications**
Proven experience as a sound designer for games, with a portfolio or reel demonstrating high-quality interactive audio work.
Hands-on experience implementing audio in Unreal Engine.
Strong understanding of sound design fundamentals, including editing, layering, mixing, processing, and mastering for games.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a remote development team.
Ability to work independently, manage time well, and handle an hourly freelance structure with reliable availability.
