**Responsibilities**
We’re a small indie team working on a competitive PvP game built in Unreal Engine using forward rendering (no Lumen, no Nanite). The game uses a grounded, old-school realistic visual style, and features non-humanoid, avian player characters — including some smaller characters that can easily get lost in the environment. We’re looking for someone to help make characters read clearly and stand out against the environment.
You’ll focus on practical, performance-aware solutions that improve clarity and fairness in gameplay.
**Qualifications**
Improve silhouette, motion, and contrast for non-humanoid characters
Develop and tune character materials and shaders for readability in forward rendering
Balance visual clarity, realism, and multiplayer performance
