About the Role:
We're seeking a talented Audio Programmer with FMOD expertise and creature sound design skills for Primeval Horizon, an immersive dinosaur survival game built in Unreal Engine 5. You'll be responsible for bringing our prehistoric world to life through dynamic audio systems and compelling creature soundscapes.
Responsibilities:
Implement and integrate FMOD audio systems within Unreal Engine 5Design, create, and implement realistic and immersive creature sound effects, with focus on dinosaurs and prehistoric faunaDevelop dynamic audio systems for creature behaviors (vocalizations, movement, environmental interactions)Program adaptive audio that responds to gameplay events and player actionsOptimize audio performance for various platformsCollaborate with the development team to ensure audio enhances gameplay experienceMaintain and update audio documentation and asset organizationImplement 3D spatial audio and environmental acoustics**Qualifications**
Qualifications:
Proven experience with FMOD Studio and FMOD integration in Unreal Engine 5Strong portfolio demonstrating creature/animal sound design workProficiency in audio programming and middleware implementationExperience with sound synthesis, recording, and audio editing softwareUnderstanding of real-time audio systems and optimization techniquesSelf-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environmentREQUIRED: Applications must include portfolio/examples demonstrating both audio programming skills AND sound design work.
