// REQUIRED SKILLS
**Responsibilities**
• Develop core gameplay technology for a cosmic-horror survival shooter
• Build systems alongside an experienced team (AAA producer and CTO, Silent Hill artist, Warhammer 40K narrative designer)
• Implement and expand systems using Unreal GAS (Gameplay Ability System)
• Design and develop inventory and survival systems (resource management, extraction loop, item logic)
• Improve and stabilize multiplayer / replication architecture
• Optimize performance and scalability (UE5, Lumen/Nanite targets)
• Contribute to vertical slice milestone for funding
**Qualifications**
• Strong Unreal Engine experience (C++ required, Blueprint proficiency expected)
• Experience working with GAS
• Experience building inventory or survival-style systems
• Experience working with GASP , locomotion or motion matching systems
• Solid understanding of replication / multiplayer fundamentals
• Preferably experienced with AI systems (Behavior Trees, EQS, combat logic)
• Comfortable working in an early-stage, high-ownership environment
• Shipped title experience preferred
