**Responsibilities**

Hello there! I am the project lead and UE5 Programmer at Project Veilbound.

Multiplayer 2d combat game(skill, augments, classes)

The game has been in production for a few months with a lot of systems already implemented.

We already have an artists that will work on sprites and animations.

I am looking for a VFX artist to join the project

Project context:

  • Multiplayer 1 vs 1/ 2 vs 2 centered around teamwork
  • -Multiple systems that make every match unique like random skill, augments and class combinations

  • Game is made mostly in Blueprints
  • Very small team could expand later
  • Revenue-share only
  • **Qualifications**

    Qualifications

    What I am looking for:

  • Communicates clearly: ask as many questions as you need, progress updates
  • The will to improve your skill with every piece you make.
  • Iteration friendly : Willing to do 1-2 passes based on gameplay feel.
  • The ability to take feedback and give constructive criticism yourself when it comes to the game.
  • Bonus: Can work together in order to define and further enhance the theme of the game through their vfx.
  • Personal favorite: Can get hyped. We are creating something ourselves that we are putting out in the world and we want to look cool.
  • Not a good fit if:

  • You are not passionate
  • You do not want to commit to a project that could take between 6months - 1 year until release
  • Do not want to have any creative decision on the project(we are a team, I fully hope you would be invested)
  • Do not aim to improve your own skills as time passes and to surprise yourself
  • Youtube video that can show a quick summary of the current systems available
